There's a fruit roll product out there called Bob the Snail fruit rolls - from the outside the product looks really clean. However, a SCD mom contacted the company, and to her horror they responded: "the only thing we add that isn't listed, is pectin, when we roll it out on the machines."\nThis makes the product not suitable for the SCD.\nThis is a major lesson not to rely on product labels, even something as innocent looking as a pure fruit bar made from "only fruits". \n IMAGE GOES HERE

Did they verify what Pectin? I see that natural Pectin from the fruit is legal. True?

I would suspect that this would also be problematic.
