Has anyone come across legal pickles?
SCD legal pickles?
Lieber's had a kosher dill pickle that was legal, until they changed the ingredients "dill weed" to "natural dill flavor". I'm in contact with Lieber's and waiting to hear from them what's actually going on with this "dill" ingredient. \nThe rule with pickles is that if the ingredient list is clean (no "spice mix", "natural flavors", or "powdered spices"), then you can use it. Both canned and bottles are fine.\nIf there's something questionable on the ingredients, then you need to verify that with the company, and if they're open with what's in there - and it's good for the SCD - then you need to get that in writing from them with their company letterhead and signature.

Any update on these pickles? Thank you!

The item has been out of stock for a very long time, so for now we have to wait till they bring it back in/if they do, and only then can we proceed with looking into it.

Does anyone have any insight on these pickles ?
SCD legal pickles?
You would have to check with the supplier regarding the "pickling spices". I remember hearing that the company Flaum's uses only legal herbs in their pickles - perhaps it's worthwhile looking into the Flaum's and confirming with the supplier that there's nothing illegal there.

You would have to reach out to Flaum's to find out what the ingredients are. If they list "spices" you would need to get an exact breakdown of what's actually in the spices. From my memory I recall that they use just fresh garlic/dill etc in their spices, but you would need to find out from them.
