Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows if L-Glutamine powder is SCD legal. My daughter was told by her Naturopath that she would like her to begin using this. Also, my daughter's colitis has flared after almost 2 years on SCD, she has been sick for about 1 month and is now on prednisone. Not sure if we should implement anything new let alone something that I don't know is SCD legal like L-Glutamine.

I read on Pecan Bread that L -Glutamine is \nscd legal. I would expect that you have to check on any fillers or illegal ingredients if this comes in capsule or tablet. Powders with no fillers would be legal. I would read about the amino acid and watch for any reactions.

Ok, wow thank you very much Deborah for looking that up for me. I will check on any fillers as you had suggested. I also think I need to help her decide on whether or not to implement this new variable while in active flare. Greatly appreciate your help during this difficult time, it is very kind of you.

According to Pecanbread.com, L-Glutamine from Kirklands is SCD legal with the warning that it was reviewed a while back and to be sure to check that all the ingredients are now legal. Apparently, L-glutamine is legal as long as all the other ingredients in whatever brand you buy is also legal.
