I’ve recently learned about Monk Fruit which is a natural zero calorie, one-to-one sugar replacement, suitable for all cooking/baking. “Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener with Erythritol” is approved by the starK, and the ingredients are only monk fruit extract and erythritol. Monk fruit is an Asian fruit, and Erythritol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol found in some fruits, vegetables and fermented foods.\nNutritionists and dieticians are now recommending the use of Monk Fruit as a no calorie replacement for sweeteners. \nDoes anyone know of it’s SCD legal status??
