Hi, I had surgery ( small bowel resection) a year ago and ever since I have been having diarhrea.\nI have been taking a medication to prevent it, but it doesnt seem to be working anymore..\nDid anybody experience this, and did it go away?\nWhat medication did you take?

*i had diarrhea at one point of my journey badly. I found out by testing at Drs office that i had c-difficle, its a bacterial infection. I took flagil , it was awful then vancomicin and it worked well to cure it, these are antibiotics , also u might be eating too much fiber in your diet which can create diarrhea,*

Hi i had surgery 3 years ago and i still have some diarrhea but it definitely improved over time.\ni took folate for animmea and it helped for the diarrhea as well,\n1 thing is sure that life is better after surgery.
