Hi, I’ve been on this diet for 6 months with very successful results with very minor symptoms here and there then all of a sudden since sukkot I’ve been having major symptoms and I haven’t changed anything in my diet except the times in the day I would eat because of the holiday now the symptoms are getting worse and worse and I’m really getting scared anyone have any advice?? I feel like the season change may have an impact as well but I don’t know if that makes any sense so even if the season change does cause flare how am I suppose to avoid it??

Don't be scared, that won't help
I think you are onto something with change of season. I have chronic Lyme, and have been on SCD since 2008. I notice a flare in symptoms, not so much gut symptoms anymore, but definitely a flare with the season changes. My Primary tells me as I heal it will go from about 30 days, down to 1 or maybe I'll just feel a little off at the change someday. So I am working on boosting my immune system, which comes from the gut - as well as having cleared all gut infections that were found on good stool testing, not the terrible covered by insurance ones I was given for years! Anyway, I am now working on healing and sealing the gut, so I will not be SO sensitive (still stage 3 SCD 11 years later) - not the way it's supposed to go, and not varied enough to keep me healthy. So long story longer
Go back to Intro, then go slowly, drink a lot, rest, breathe, pray, and it will pass. If you wish to see if there's something else going on, try Great Plains stool testing
God bless!

Wow I think that’s exactly what happened to me so what do you do to take care of the flare? I’ve been doing hydrocortisone enemas(medication) to keep the symptoms to a minimum since that’s always helped me but I’d really like to stop and just go back to being on the diet only with my routine medication withought the enemas so what do you do what should I do???

Maybe try doing an emergency SCD reset - 3 days of the “SCD intro” chicken soup.
