Is homemade sourdough bread allowed on the diet?..since the wheat and gluten are all broken down in the fermenting process we were wondering ..

Homemade sourdough bread is not SCD legal. \nI recommend eating homemade spelt sourdough bread once you wean off the diet, and your body can already handle healthy grains. To explain - after being on the diet for at least 2 years, including a full year symptom free, you should first introduce things like quinoa and sweet potatoes, and only then try the bread.
