The idea discussed above is to take a B12 supplement that does not need to go through the digestive system, since it won't do the job anyways and will not be absorbed...

Will the spray by mouth be absorbed if i had Surgury?

I use the freeda multivitamin which has a good balance of B's and have had good luck with it. The vitamins are SCD.

Sorry...it's a mistake - this one is oral, not nasal... it is still SCD legal and can be taken orally. Upon further reading you can get B12 nasal sprays though most commonly it is prescription. You can get b12 nasal sprays, but they are apparently difficult to find. The prescription nasal sprays take the first pages of searches...but they are apparently out there.

Just to understand a bit better will oral b12 in pill form or oral spray be absorbed a little or nothing?\n\nI had Surgury so I guess no ilium \n\nAlso I have seen b12 patches available without prescription

You may want to direct this to your physician, so he can give you the best protocol for your situation.

Technically SCD legal...the levels are a bit different than the b complex that Elaine suggested...although still somewhat moderate and similar to Elaine's recommendations.
