Is there an SCD legal thickener for sauces, gravies, etc.?
Making shepard's pie last night, I longed for a thickener for the lamb and broth base. Is there an SCD legal thickener for sauces, gravies, etc.?

I haven't tried this, but I have seen mention of cashew flour as a thickening agent. Cashews are extremely starchy and do a good job at thickening.

I think gelatin would be best for sauces etc.
