SCD Yoghurt starter - UK

Hi - can anyone help? We've been using Lakeland Organic Sheep's Yoghurt for a couple of years and it's been great. Just recently though odd pots of the sheep's yoghurt have led to a very runny SCD yogurt that seems to have more lactose and is hard to filter\n\nWe're thinking of trying something else as a starter and would be grateful for any suggestions

I don't have any specific suggestions. However, greek yogurts are often more likely to be okay for yogurt starter but you would still need to contact the company to see what bacterial cultures are in it. \n\nYogurt starter must contain Streptococus thermophilus, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and *may* contain either Lactobacillus acidophilus and /or Lactobacillus casei. They may be labelled in abbreviated form as S..thermophilus, L. bulgaricus and may contain either L.acidophilus and /or L. casei.
