Yogurt Temperature
Here's a question I just responded to privately, and thought it would be helpful to share:\nQuestion:\nSomeone is using this for yogurt making, https://www.amazon.com/Mueller-UltraPot ... BZFLB\nBut the temp is around 90-95 degrees. The taste and consistency is great. Is this temp range good for the SCD?\nAnswer:\nUnfortunately no. Yogurt needs to be at 100 to 110F(38 to 43C) for 24 hours to reduce lactose in dairy milk.\n\nThe only exception is if you are using this temperature for legal non dairy milk (eg legal nut milk). For nut milk yogurt it's okay because there is no lactose.

Esther, \n\nI hope you're doing well!\n\nPlease check the most recent edition of BREAKING THE VICIOUS CYCLE. The temperatures have been updated. It has been revised from 100-110 F to 108-116.

Interesting. Do you mean the book? My book says 16th printing January 2018, and says 100-110 degrees..\n\nThe website also still says 100-110\n\nhttp://www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info/knowle ... hurtmaker/

A new edition just came out this year. I’m not sure why they haven’t changed it on the website. I got the information from speaking to Judy Herod personally
