Using SCD yogurt as a starter to make more yogurt

I cooked my milk and then realized I was out of Greek yogurt as a starter. I ran to the store and they were out so I used some of my SCD yogurt as a start. Elaine says not to do that but is it ok for me still to eat the new yogurt. If not is it ok to give it to my family who is not on the scd diet?

I would suggest giving it to family not on the diet. It may not be fully fermented- better safe than sorry.
