What's the best way to reintroduce foods on scd diet?
Still trying to navigate this SCD and adding foods in. Can someone share how they went about the process, there seems to be a lot of different approaches to the length of time needed to try new foods and how long to wait? I'm just struggling to think that i'll be on the intro phase for weeks-i feel like i will be starved by in a few days. Also what about coffee is that allowed while reintroducing foods? \nThank you all this is such a great resource!

I heard that when trying a new food, you need to eat it a few times within 2 days and wait to see how you feel from it. If you don't get a reaction-continue eating and enjoy! Don't be scared to try new foods! But if you arent feeling the best, i dont advise trying new foods at that point. Wait till your feeling amazing and then introduce new foods. GOOD LUCK!

Coffee is a laxative, and definitely not for beginners. In general - for healing - you're best off getting a good night's sleep, plus a nap during the day, rather than relying on caffeine. It's really not just about diet - healing includes getting proper sleep, exercise, stress management, etc.
