Lyme Disease and SCD

Hello! \n\nI am wondering if any of you have any experience with Lyme Disease and the SCD diet. I have a friend who has Lyme ( just Lyme, not Crohn's), and has just recently had some really bad attacks. Do any of you know if, or how well the SCD diet would work for Lyme? \n\nThank you! \n\nBlessings, \n Kyrie

Oh I will chime in!!! I went on SCD in Jan 2008 for intestional issues - mainly nausea, then they said celiac, then they tried to say Crohns (it wasn't) - it was intestional corrosion - as my whole body basically gut first was attacked by Lyme - pls recommend the Cowden Support program to her, which automatically removes the main 8 allergens and a few other things - but then I do say go SCD cause it removes even more - BUT if her gut isn't an issue - and restricting that much freaks her out - I'd just love for her to get on that diet, and program - can not tell u what it has done for me, my friends, my son - but you must follow it, diet and drops faithfully (just like scd) God bless!\nEileen\nFeel free to out her in touch
