If a pot of chicken soup was made with a sweet potato in it can I still eat a bowl of soup from that pot without getting any of the sweet potato?

I don't think an SCDer should eat soup that was made with sweet potato even if they remove the sweet potato. The starches from the potato will likely go into the soup.
