Makeup - Does it need to be Legal?

Is there any specific kind of makeup that's good/bad for someone on scd?\nLipstick in particular - since it goes into the mouth...\n\nI recently heard of a very clean line of makeup - Arbonne. Would that be good for scd?\n\nOr does it not make a difference at all what goes on your skin?

i don't think putting makeup on skin makes any difference. I did stopped wearing lipstick because I realized I was eating some of it and didn't want to take a chance. Maybe someone who still uses lipstick will answer.

Do you check if it's Kosher? if not, what's the diff?

I was thinking the same thing - if your lipstick doesn't need to be certified kosher then it shouldn't need to be certified legal either because you're not ingesting it.

People do only wear kosher lipstick.. because you do end up ingesting it (although it's not derech achilah so most people are not makpid)\nI was wondering if there is any cleaner option... but I guess not that you know of.\nThanks anyway!
