Is Almond milk legal?

Hi, \nI am looking to start the SCD diet but coffee is very important to me is almond milk legal? because in the book it says in the first 6 months it is not allowed is that true? and does anyone of any sweetener that is legal?

Almond milk without any additives is legal, but possibly only after a few months.\nI used homemade cashew milk in the earliest months. (This is very easily made by blending water and smooth cashew butter)\nHoney is pretty much the only legal sweetener... once you get used to it it tastes really good in all sorts of hot drinks.\nHope this helps!\nFeel good!!

If you're ready for almond milk, the only kosher legal one I know of is Gefen unsweetened. I was so excited to find it this past year but then couldn't find it in any store for a few months until Pesach, when all the stores started carrying it again. I wonder if they distribute it only once a year for Pesach, so I tried to stock up on it. Now's a good time to still buy it.

and what about any other milk? hazelnut, coconut, can i use that in the first few months?
