SCD legal apple juice exists!

Hi everyone,\n\nIm a new poster but a long-time reader. My 9 year old daughter is about to start the diet, and i've been doing so much research...thank you to everyone here for making this so much more doable!\n\nI thought i'd share a nice tidbit I found- SCD legal apple juice does exist! I know they say it doesn't because they're always from concentrate/with added ingredients but "freshly pressed 100% apple juice" produced by Devash Farms is not from concentrate, and has no added ingredients. I just spoke on the phone with someone at the company and he confirmed that the only ingredient is literally the juice from the apples. They don't even add water..* That would make it legal right?*\n\nThis product is also kosher, and comes in small 16 oz bottles for on the go,...\n\nIf you want to contact the company to verify, the number I found is 845-426-3000

I reached out to the manufacturer to verify the process. Apple juice is typically a big no-no on the SCD. However, this one is different. I was able to get confirmation that it's a totally clean process. In fact, it does goes through the following processing:\n“We utilize a processing aid, an enzyme, pectinase, to remove the pectin (cloudiness) from the cider prior to ultra filtration. The enzyme is not present in the finished product but we do utilize a processing aid.”\nPectinase is fine for the SCD.\nThis is very exciting news - and a great addition for SCD'ers.\nFor the convenience of our customers, Wellbee's will be carrying this product in the near future.

If you have a juicer, putting apples through it make THE best juice you've ever tasted! There's nothing in it but apples, so sweet, really fresh.

Yes, i agree that is absolutely delicious. Love it.\nBut the convenience of being able to pack individual-sized shelf stable juice when we go on a trip is amazing.

Best option.\nOrganic even better\nNo arsenic issues that is usually put it apple juice.
