Hello. I found this company https://peacefulfruits.com/ and i have been in contact with the owner. I know canola oil is not scd legal but what are your thoughts on it as just a non-stick agent and not in the product?
Thanks for reaching out and great questions - it's awesome that you are so knowledgeable about the tricks these companies play! We go way out of our way to order 100% fruit only purees/concentrates/etc and so I ask these exact same questions of our vendors.
The only non-listed processing aid we use is a non-gmo, standard allergen free, canola oil on our baking trays to help keep the product from sticking after the cooking process - similar to when you bake cookies at home
Our dots product do not have any contact with oil (they are dried right on the paper) but all of the others do, unfortunately
