I’m hoping you can help out with an issue that arose during the process of making yogurt. I made a batch of SCD yogurt using the Luvele yogurt maker and set it for 24 hours at 100 degrees F. Around 8 hours into fermentation, I noticed the yogurt maker read OFF. I was told that there was a sudden power outage that must’ve caused the machine to power down. If I restarted the yogurt maker within an hour of it shutting off and set the temperature back to 100 F for another 18 hours (to be safe), Is my yogurt ok? Or does this disrupt the fermentation and render the yogurt unsafe to eat??
