Simple and flavorful salmon fish (from mom's upcoming cookbook)
This fish is fit for a king! Whoever tastes this fish is sure it has some hidden secret ingredients.
There is one secret, brining the fish overnight. The beauty of salting is that it keeps the fish fresh
longer and removes any fishy taste or smell. It also seasons the fish naturally and brings out the
delicious locked in rich flavors. Believe it or not, all it has is 2 ingredients, Fish and Salt! Although
any salt will do, I prefer to use Himalayan salt, because it’s loaded with trace minerals.
INGREDIENTS
Salmon fillet (with or without skin)
Himalayan or sea salt
Wash fish thoroughly.
Place in a glass dish or in a parchment paper lined disposable pan.
Sprinkle with salt on all sides and place back into pan.
Cover and place in fridge overnight.
In the morning preheat oven to 350° and put the fish in the oven as is, (no need to wash
the salt) bake fish for 30-45 minutes depending on how many slices.
Let cool in oven for 1 hour and then refrigerate.
